| Description: | Min Qualifications Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration or related field required. Ten (10) years related experience in healthcare administration required. JOB DESCRIPTION: Function: To provide executive leadership and administrative expertise in the management oversight, organizational development, and operational performance of the TDCJ CMC program. Works collaboratively with the senior health care staff of the TDCJ CMC program. Responsible for integrating the strategic plan of the TDCJ CMC program. Scope: Correctional Managed Care: The Associate Vice President has strategic and executive responsibilities for multiple clinical and business operations to include: administrative functions within TDCJ Health Services; oversight monitoring of CMC outpatient and inpatient administrative services; liaison between TDCJ, the universities and other contracting entities; telemedicine coordinator with CMC; information management coordination with CMC; contract provider network coordination with CMC; accreditation tracking. Preferred Work Experience Experience working with TDCJ operations is preferred. Closing Statement Work environment is located within the confines of a prison, jail or juvenile detention center.
